Who says you can’t go home again? Last week I had the honor of returning to my old elementary school and meeting with today’s awesome third and fourth grade classes to talk about reading and writing. hanks for having me, St. Michael’s Academy! I enjoyed every minute of my visit.

DadDoes Baseball

If you don’t already know about DadDoes.com, the terrific family-friendly product review site, you really should! And not just because the folks over there are big Super Sluggers fans — though I’m really glad they are! In addition to the occasional book review, DadDoes offers useful info and tips on games, toys, electronics — if it’s supposed to be fun, they’re on it — always presented with good humor and great insight. Love those guys.

Spring is here… and so is the new Super Sluggers! Check out Rainmaker today! I don’t want to give anything away, but let’s just say pitcher Slingshot Slocum is awash in trouble as the Rambletown Rounders head into the playoffs. Can the season be saved? Will the Rounders go out winners? Will the rain ever stop? Time will tell!

Check it out: Amazon’s now taking advance orders for Rainmaker, the next Supper Sluggers book. As you can see from the cover, I’m not the only one excited about it. Big Nate author Lincoln Peirce says the series is a grand slam!
